About Self Service Car wash

Self Service Car wash is a car wash in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is listed at 25 Southern Plaza Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46227, which places it among the local businesses of Indianapolis that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Indianapolis, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Indiana, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Its Google rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 204 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Indianapolis is in Indiana, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Indianapolis follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

the quarter system maxed out before i even got halfway through rinsing the undercarriage which put me in a bad mood right from the start i brought my own bucket and microfiber towels and the presoak foam actually clung instead of sliding right off this is always a gamble with these places water pressure was better than i expected and the spot free rinse left zero drips on my glass which never happens at the big chain places so credit where its due vacuum actually sucked which sounds dumb but half the time they break or just barely work and i could reach the back floor mats without contorting myself i wish the timer was a little more generous or they would let you switch settings without eating into your time thats the one thing that drives me nuts overall its clean it works and the water felt hot enough to cut through road grime so yeah id come back even with the grumpy start

No wash brush gor the big bay. Bring your own bucket and brush. Semi truck bobtail only 1 bay, but that's enough. Wash hose very dirty, greasy. 10$ for 13 minutes is not too bad.

Refund needed, message will be sent to my bank. I pulled up to the self service car wash (Not the first car, or the last car there when I pulled up), swiped my card to use the machine, and as soon as I started washing an employee came running over yelling "HEY HEY HEY, NO NO NO NO NO!" So I stopped the machine because he was freaking out and I thought somwthing was wrong. He then finally made ir to me and said he was sorry for distracting me and that I could go back to washing my car with no explanation for whatever the heck he was screaming at me for in the first place, but I had already stopped the machine after already having been charged the machines max because it was a debit card and not cash. I was NOT going to swipe my card and be charged AGAIN when they had already freaked me out and made me want to leave within a minute of starting the machine. We can line up charge times, camera footage, and machine run information to verify everything. This is absolutely ridiculous, there should be a phone number and website attached to the Google page for when things like this happen.
